You're looking at a 200 year-old wisteria vine at Byakugou-ji Temple in Tamba, Hyogo, Japan. The delicate pink/purple blossoms create an otherworldly place where magic can happen. But here's an interesting fact: wisteria are in the legume family (Fabaceae). This is a magic beanstalk.

Summer 2015. Several lifetimes ago. A different America. Lindsey Graham, running for president, says this about Joe Biden. The same summer he said Trump would “kill” the GOP with his hateful comments. Several lifetimes ago. A different America.

This should have been a joke... Sad part? It isn't

Reminder: Kash Patel wrote a children’s book where he cast himself as the heroic wizard who saves King Donald. That should’ve been the weirdest thing on his résumé, but it isn’t.

Hey it's me, Sonic the Hedgehog! Is America truly free if police routinely harass and murder people of color for simply existing in public spaces? Are we free to pursue happiness if millions of people are one missed paycheck or hospital visit away from homelessness? Liberty and Justice for who?

Hegseth just fired the Army Chief Gen Randy George. Immediately. Gen George the most competent and experienced combat leaders I have ever encountered. Courage. Integrity. Takes care of soldiers. A government of gangsters.

Iran have been attacked by a nuclear power whose military is vastly superior to theirs. They have no chance of winning & should surrender to avoid escalation that risks WW3 for us all. Apparently that's how this works.

This is immoral. Trump officials gutted USAID and cut off food aid to refugees. Clinics closed. Warnings poured in and were ignored. Rations collapsed. Children starved to death. 👉🏾Agency staffers even celebrated the cuts with a sheet cake while lifesaving programs were being shut down.👈🏾

The most disturbing part is knowing ICE left a little girl alone and didn’t care. Annabella was six years old when her dad was detained by ICE while he was picking up their food order. She stayed inside, waiting. He never returned to her that day. 1/2

Newsom: It’s the last stop. There’s no Board of Peace here. You can’t reestablish a new Supreme Court with a billion-dollar tithe and 27 of your friends from overseas. It’s time this guy starts to understand that he cannot operate as an imperial president — that he is subject to the rule of law.

kind of funny that an olympian said they are here to represent "compassion, respect, and love for others" and some people automatically knew that was a statement against them

read online that someone set-up a premium rate phone number where callers get charged $3.99/ min. then they posted flyers in their neighborhood that said "call this number to report illegal aliens," but the number just puts them on hold with music. so far, they've made $17,000

Happy Australia Day everyone. I am grateful for the many opportunities this amazing country has given me and my family. We are not a perfect country, and have our challenges, but we are always aspiring to get there. It was my privilege to serve it in the Army for so long.
