One of the benefits of working with @trocaire.bsky.social is meeting and learning from our incredibly committed and smart human rights partners. None more so than the Xinka Parliament, so it was a privilege to collaborate with them to write this important article for @business-humanrights.org.

It is my great honour to be here at the United Nations in Geneva representing @trocaire.bsky.social and supporting such couragenous human rights defenders as Udiel in advocating for a strong #BindingTreaty on #BusinessandHumanRights.

Trócaire@trocaire.bsky.social

The UN Binding Treaty on Business and Human Rights will ensure that transnational companies do not abuse human rights in the places where they work, and are held accountable if they do. That's why it's so important we get it right! Hear from one of our partners below on why this treaty is so vital

Attacks on communities and individuals like the Xinkas are constant. When human rights are abused by corporations, victims of even blatant attacks face huge legal and practical barriers to justice. This is one of the most important reasons that we need a #BindingTreaty on #BusinessandHumanRights.
