This is a hoot, because RW social media has been selling this as either a false flag created by libs, or produced by a random loose cannon in a vain attempt to save his bacon. The only thing I can think of is that he decided he couldn’t take living in Columbus for four years.
Wow. Vivek Ramaswamy admits he was responsible for the despicable attack ad featuring Amy Acton’s estranged mother.

Says the guy who *admitted* making up stories about Hatians eating cats and dogs.
JD Vance makes excuses for white nationalists: "When you demonize a guy because he's white, it's just as evil as when you demonize a guy because he's Black. When you demonize a guy because he's white ... some people will get radicalized into some very dangerous ideas."

Voters will, and I cannot stress this enough, ALWAYS say taxes are too high. This is one of the reasons you have to tell people over and over what their taxes are doing. A lot won’t listen, but when we don’t tell people what stuff costs it’s easier for ‘tAxEs ArE THeFt!’ to take hold.
Same survey found that Democrats like socialism, but think taxes are too high. agglomerations.eig.org/p/american-w...

”i am a moderate on hustle“ = “I believe in whatever level of ‘ hustle‘ (;)) that will maximize the admission of white men to selective institutions“
interesting that conservatives were militantly “we must reward hustle” when the target was affirmative action at elite universities and now, when faced with the success of south asians and other groups, it is “i think we are too meritocratic”

There is no dialogue with the Sensible Moderates: they are *not listening to a word you say*, and they never have listened to anything you said. When you speak, they are only thinking about their next smart retort, and they only ever hear a noise like a cow mooing or Donald Duck throwing a tantrum.

It’s easy to figure out. Telling rich people what they want to hear is attractive to rich patrons.
There's this really odd pattern with Bari Weiss, JD Vance, Richard Hanania etc, where they rise to prominence because their main skill is cultivating the friendship of wealthy patrons, but it's impossible to figure out how they do it because they constantly exude a pungent strain of anti-charisma.

I like that in becoming a nazi, you get glowing coverage as a brave iconoclast, and then when you stop being a nazi, you’re get glowing coverage as a brave dissident. Money coming and going. Only way you lose is having normal opinions like “racism bad” bsky.app/profile/trac...
OK, Washington Post, enlighten me. What is the bright side of being a Nazi?

This kind of wimpy-ass mindset is a big reason why we’re in this godawful mess. Republicans are literally turning the US into a fascist theocracy, while Democrats like Jeffries refuse to acknowledge reality and live in a fantasy world where they’re all “colleagues.”
Jeffries defends his meeting with Kushner: "I'm of the view that if we're going to be committed to actually solving problems on behalf of the American people ... they're are gonna be times that you have to speak with people on the other side of the aisle. Even people you strongly disagree with."

There is zero reason for politicians to be talking about "trans issues" except as a result of a 100% bad faith campaign of bullying and bigotry and it is important to point that out whenever the topic is raised, or you grant bigots legitimacy they don't deserve. www.hamiltonnolan.com/p/you-have-t...

What a stone asshole. How about an extra year to be happily married, see their grandkids, travel, work in the garden? We aren’t made for the GNP. We are made to live.
Dr Oz: "If we can get the average American to feel so healthy, so vital, so with it, that they want to work one extra year, just one extra year -- instead of retiring at 62, they want to go to 63 -- that's worth $1 trillion to our GDP every year"

It turns out Trump's "Freedom Fuel" network is a crooked as he is. They stiffed the distributor for the gas they were selling, according to a law suit. The operators have a lot of prior legal action against them. Birds of a feather, and all that. [gift link: wapo.st/4qMtzGv]
