2 things can be true: 1) the worst milquetoast corporate Dem (not named Fetterman) is nowhere near as bad as Donald Trump 2) if a milquetoast corporate Dem (who won’t prosecute the Trump regime, expand the Court, or Abolish ICE) wins the 2028 Dem primary, an even worse fascist will win in 2032.
Yes and also this sort of 'uniparty' nonsense feels so hollow deployed in the midst of a national stove-touching. It turns out the difference between a 'milquetoast corporate Democrat' and Trump was really big! President Harris would not be driving trans soldiers out of the military!

What about autistic people who don’t care about being psychopathic and just want to live normal lives?

"This election is about the threat of trans kids" is the worst possible messaging for Dems yet so many candidates are leaning into it. No voter will flip R->D over it. Low-info voters read this as "you're focused on bullshit that doesn't affect me" while the base reads this as "you're an asshole."
Incredibly disappointing ad from Mary Peltola (D-AK) saying she neither supports "kids getting surgeries to change genders or men in girls bathrooms." Yes, flipping the Senate is essential and can stop bad laws and bad judges from happening, but she can do it without my support from the lower 48.

Having watched the clip, he carefully frames this around the number of civilians the US has killed in the Arab world, which is true. Axios has deliberately left that out of their headline, which he should have anticipated.

I'm not going to pretend I don't know why people do this (campism, racism) but it gives me secondhand embarrassment to see people announcing that any expression of comprehension regarding hezb's popular support is "taking their side" or thinking they're good or w/e. no, sorry, i'm just an adult.
Personally i thought it was more "holy shit" when Israel ethnically cleansed south Lebanon and bombed the fuck out of a bunch of places in Beirut and the US didn't say boo but im not a history prof at UNC so maybe i'm missing super esoteric context that makes such activities normal and fine

Well, I'd like to see Abdul El-Sayed wiggle his way out of this!

it is in fact just the media, which has devoted more attention to this than it has to the fact that multiple republican lawmakers are dealing with “we hired nazis” scandals and that the “we hired nazis” problem extends to the white house
Tur: It’s not just the media, and I reject that framing. 6 in 10 Americans don’t know who he is. I’m not saying he’s the most important person in the world, but...is it worth losing votes you need to win? AES: 10 in 10 Americans agree that they can’t afford the things that they need in their lives.
