There's also the problem of the Claude guys taking every opportunity to blend in with those described above, but that would indicate that you should spend more time rooting them out of your spaces and less time trying to convince people making minimum wage that they're ableist for not using Grok.

99.9% of AI usage is to either make rich assholes look smart to their rich asshole friends or to wring more productivity out of workers so it can be snorked up by, again, rich assholes. I'm glad you found the .1% of stuff that isn't that, but it doesn't change reality.

I wish the people who claim to have found an ethical way to use the tech would understand that when we're yelling about AI WE AREN'T TALKING ABOUT YOU. But until the bubble bursts you're going to have to deal with people side-eying your hobby until you give them an explanation. Them's the breaks.

There's a whole opening to this vid I ended up cutting about how this was one of the only games I actually waited for the midnight release of and bought the collector's edition with the statue and everything. At some point I need to repaint that statue to look more like Max from the older games.

Josh Turek of Iowa, Democrat, comes out with one of the worst anti-trans ads yet. Not only is it an anti-sports ad, it proposes a ban on federal funding for gender affirming care. That would hit all medicaid and medicare patients, and any ACA federally-subsidized plans as well. Horrific.
