The Brewers now have more wins (98) than any team in franchise history. Jacob Misiorowski's first Cy Young. Jake Bauers breakout. A 22-0 win and 20-0 clincher. Pat Murphy MOY again?? Healthy Garrett Mitchell. Logan Henderson. Drew Rom? Greg Jones? Luis Rengifo? Here's to you, 2026.

I love "Joy is Rebellion" so much

Laura Jedeed@laurajedeed.bsky.social

I try to cultivate compassion for people who get upset at those who take joy where they can find it. These people are suffering terribly, and I hope they can find some way to bear the horrors because this administration, this ideology, aims to crush our spirits Joy is rebellion. Do it when you can

Matilda, which taught me that adults aren't always right, and that being bookish and thoughtful can be a superpower. I read it over and over until I needed tape to hold it together, and then I read it some more.

The red hot Red Sox have a 22-11 record since the all star break, the streaking cubs are 20-12, and the slumping Brewers are 21-12.

One thing I hope folks recognize is that whatever your issues with the candidate, *any* Democrat has to work with and is subject to pressures from a hypothetical Democrat legislature. The governor alone does not set the agenda.

Ben Wikler@benwikler.bsky.social

At every step in the WI-Gov primary, my message has been the same: whoever you've been supporting, commit to doing all you can to ensure that the nominee wins in November. It's all on the line.

Man, you rarely see 94/2 in a win, let alone a loss. Truly remarkable stuff.

We may have just witness a Miz Moment. First and third, just gave up his hardest-hit ball of the night on his slowest fastball, stares down William Contreras and the dugout and simply says, "No." Stays in the game. Back to back punchouts.

Feeling overwhelmed with all of this. LISTEN. Another Louisiana resident (Marshawn is the only name we have) testifies against the state’s racial gerrymander, speaking truth to power up and down the hearing room and predicts how this story will end. Speak your truth, fight and believe.

Who has this title now? Feels like it would be one of the late night comics. Stephen Colbert? Jimmy Kimmel? Jon Stewart?

Jacob Redman@jacob-redman.bsky.social

On April 16, 1962, Walter Cronkite became anchor of the CBS Evening News. He would hold the title for nearly 20 years and would become known as “the most trusted man in America.”

I understand why people got all over Antetokounmpo during the season, but some of that behind-the-scenes stuff is coming to light with this: He's fully aware of THEIR lack of commitment to winning. So why on Earth would he commit to them? The national reporting around this has been misguided.

Good work by Lori Nickel here reporting on the disconnect between the Bucks and Giannis. Giannis is the best human playing athletics for a Wisconsin team. His honesty and integrity are refreshing in an era dominated by business decisions. Also, I miss Herb Kohl. He cared.

Jim Owczarski@jimowczarski.bsky.social

Lori Nickel spoke with Giannis Antetokounmpo in only the way she can. Remember when Wes Edens said Antetokounmpo will either sign an extension or be traded? He does. “A slap in my face.” But there’s so much more here, ✍️ via Lori Nickel #NBAsky www.jsonline.com/story/sports...

I wish I could even watch it. No reason to put the Semis on FS1. I've loved the WBC this year, but not putting it on FOX is either cowardly (take on the Oscars!) or greedy (I don't want your streaming service).

Curt Hogg@cyrthogg.bsky.social

The World Baseball Classic is trying so hard to be freaking awesome and FOX is slapping it in the face with raw meats labeled "Talk about the possibility of Paul Skenes blowing out his elbow in a high-leverage spot" and "Put graphics for the wrong T. Rogers on the screen"

It’s ok to take a little time for yourself to break down. There’s real deep grief and justified rage here. But pessimism leads to helplessness, and nobody needs your statements of doom. We already know. I’m fighting with everything I have now so that my kids have to fight less.
