I'm making a garlic pull-apart loaf from sourdough discard today and the whole fucking house smells like garlic, it's so GOOD.

if i take a walk in my little walkable neighborhood to buy fresh flowers and crunchy nectarines and my serenity is punctured by the sound of your tesla flipping in the air, i will blow up your car with a rocket launcher

More telescope posting :3 This is the dark shark, LDN 1235. It's just dust, it doesn't emit light, so it's incredibly difficult to image through the light pollution here, but I wanted to see what I could do. Something like ~80 hours later, I'll no doubt add more data to improve it in the future!

I'm working on some longer projects with the telescopes, but I had one finish up this week! This is the Hidden Galaxy, IC342. It's quite faint, and even more challenging with how bad the light pollution is here. This took nearly 64 hours of total exposure time over 9 nights to capture.

More space pictures from the past week! This time the Elephant's Trunk Nebula, again in false color. It's probably/definitely oversaturated but idc the colors are really pretty haha. I feel like I'm really locking in working with the SCT scope.

Now that it's summer, I've been able to drag the telescopes out the last few weeks and I'm over the moon (ha) with how these turned out. These took several weeks to capture, one colorized using narrowband filters (the way Hubble images are sometimes presented), and the red one is "true" color.

I have too many things to do at bedtime now. I tried to inhale nose spray while swishing mouthwash and my brain turned off and I tried to breathe the mouthwash in. All my coughs are minty now >.>
