Cinema only allows me one points ticket per transaction but charges a per ticket fee not a per transaction fee so I can just do three points tickets as three transactions to use up my points. 🙃
For some time I thought the major normal Christian sects treated the Book of Revelations as apocryphal and it was only peculiar evangelicals who believed in the imminent rapture who didn't.
Even though the Anthropic version of this is the opposite of how it usually goes I'm still opposed in principle. If you want an insane share structure stay private!
If you use headphones on public transport you miss out on experiences such as the someone on the phone to a colleague explaining that someone else at their work had their life support switched off over the weekend.
I went to Croydon for a friend's party once and it was really weird because there was nothing there. Bizarre little place, would be much better if it had any stuff.

The office sink demonstrates the illiteracy and degeneracy of society. That "please do not leave your dishes in the sink" sign can't stop me because I can't read and I don't care.
New, from me: One way that American elections have gotten better - maybe the only way - is the opportunity to claim some awesome "I voted" stickers. Here are my favorites from this voting season. (And please share yours). 🧵

Business idea: a bar with a modern fitout with nice banquettes, maybe some quirky decor, fancy soap in the toilets, staff have nice outfits - maybe a uniform maybe just a theme, attractive glassware... And the drinks are just vodka with different flavoured cordials and some pretty garnishes.
Open a bar next door that sells martinis with a Churchillian level of vermouth, margaritas that aren't 50% agave syrup, etc and you can capture the whole fancy cocktail market.
Delighted to have discovered the Tongan court jester financial scandal of 2001, associated NY performance art piece and that the court jester himself later became a hypnotist.
I don't like that martinis have become popular because now everyone is making novel martinis and they all have way too much vermouth or sherry. If you want to drink to half vodka half sherry because you don't like gin, fine, but don't make it the only martini on your menu.
I like dirty martinis because I like gin and olives but I'm perfectly happy with just gin and some decorative lemon peel. If it's half vermouth I will be sad.
