Disorder, rioting, vandalism in Western Europe are in pretty much every realistic scenario of the first phases of a Russian war against Europe. It's fully in character for the Kremlin, it's relatively easy to arrange, and there's plenty of recent and proven precedent of Moscow using paid proxies.
