The Critter Stack already had what I'd argue is the best in the industry story for blue/green deployments with Event Sourcing, and it just got even better: jasperfx.net/news/rebuild...

The Critter Stack has grown a lot in the last year. Check out what's been going on and what's in the near future with @jeremydmiller.bsky.social on the latest .NET Rocks! episode. www.dotnetrocks.com/details/2023

Happy Lanterns season finale to all who celebrate. We're at T-minus 23 minutes. Woo-boy.

Did I make another top 9 because I *felt bad* I left out some games? Yes, yes, I did. PS: Wait, I forgot StarCraft and Warcraft.... Nooooo!

You can now run CritterWatch in embedded mode in any Wolverine ASP.Net Core application in the new CW 1.1 beta: jasperfx.net/news/critter...

I cannot recall the last time I used a traditional aggregate root, in any language, but when I'm in .NET I use Marten (and Wolverine!) to help make my code easier to read, maintain, and evolve.

Disgusting, honestly.

Okay, the Timewalking feature from BlizzCon is really neat, but also... a little scary. Sad? 😅 URL: timewalking.blizzcon.com

'm still very happy that my lil side project mmoreconnect.com had hundreds of people sign up before EverQuest Legends came out. I've been taking steps to get it ready for whatever version of "WoW Classic+" ends up being revealed tomorrow at #BlizzCon. Soon™️.

Am I going to miss out on BlizzCon? Yeah. Am I glad I went to KCDC? Yeah. Am I glad to be back home with King Koopa 😺? Absolutely.

Tomorrow I'll be presenting "How I Gave Up Clean Architecture, and Why My Code Got Simpler" at the Kansas City Developer Conference @kcdc.bsky.social I'm honored to speak at one of my favorite conferences again. Please do not hesitate to say hi! KCDC is a great time to meet new people.

The beloved @kcdc.bsky.social is this week! I'll be arriving in KC later today (Tuesday) and presenting on Thursday. Who will I see there?!

EverQuest Legends is very fun.

Tomorrow mmoreconnect.com will be updated for @everquestlegends.bsky.social , as it is the game's launch! PS: I've been adding features and tweaking the site near-daily for about two months. Thanks for all the feedback.

We worked closely with cultural consultants and brought in creatives with deep expertise in the Afrofantasy genre to help shape the world of Zhalfir. #MTGZhalfir

Can't say too much, but I was on the #MTGZhalfir team for a really, really long time, including the Vision team. It's easily the most rewarding thing I've worked on at Wizards and can't wait for the world to see it. #WOTCstaff

it's a horror game about a bird trying to write a screenplay.

ICE shot and killed a man in Houston with no criminal record who was not even their target. They pushed him off the road. And now he is gone forever. ICE is a domestic terrorist organization. We need to abolish ICE now and stop Trump’s murderous thugs.

bro they laid off the Doom 2016 developers. that's like if you laid off the studio that made arguably one of the best first-person shooters of all time, like Doom 2016

Nothing new to the Critter Stack itself, but it may be new to you! AOT support + compliance. 😎
