Christ on a bike! Just got my bill from #ThamesWater. They're putting my monthly bill up from £29 to £68! How is that kind of inflation allowed to happen? #ThievingShareholders It's not like I'm allowed to even use my water that much, as we've been on and will continue to stay on a hosepipe ban.

Someday I'll properly start my "Cats of Cotillo" portfolio, using a good camera. Not this year though. Here are some holiday cuties anyway.

Someone whisper in Trump's ear that Super Intelligence should be renamed again to Super High Intelligent Technology. I want to watch all the tech bro marketing departments burn through budgets for SHIT.

Wow, Netflix has imposed a 33% increase on the monthly sub, which was already on the cheap ad tier. Cancelled it as we rarely use it. We've taken to watching DVDs on TV nights anyway. We get a good film for £1 at a charity shop the week before and don't end up wasting time searching through dross.

Jim Henson didn’t muppeteer a tiny green frog that was singing and playing the banjo, with rubber gloves while totally submerged underwater in a airtight aluminum tank just so you could tell me that AI is “inevitable”.

The Wachowski sisters didn't use 120 cameras to film one shot just so you could tell me that AI is "inevitable."

This is Fenrir. He has not yet been successful in cuddling with the cat. But thinks if he goes slow enough she might not notice. 13/10 (IG: fenrirfanclub)

If you ever have imposter syndrome about your writing skills just remember someone wrote “Somehow, Palpatine returned” for the last instalment of major film franchise and they went with it.

BBC engineers built robo-cameras disguised as dung heaps to film wildlife at distances no human crew could ever get close enough to reach.

If the cat is not prepared to use her new cooling pad, I think I will tonight. 27°C is not a temperature for sleeping.

I've opened all the windows and the temperature has gone up in all rooms within 10 minutes. Ridiculous. There'll be no sleep tonight.

Well this sucks. Turns out that almost every track that I released was used to train AI without my permission. They were ripped from YouTube along with 12 million other works. How long are we going to allow this theft as a society?

@salomekjones.bsky.social Looks like they got Cthulhu Lives!, but not RPB.

meet a thousand babies and only four of them will be suckers! this is good news for anyone whose life has - perhaps through no fault of their own - brought them to circumstances in which they must now absolutely meet one thousand babies qwantz.com/index.php?co...

It's not going to make any difference to the polls if Labour replace Keir Starmer. The billionaire-owned papers and social media sites will just rip his replacement apart and present their reasons for them failing the voters. People want quick, positive change, but it's going to take years to fix.
