On this date in 2011, Horror Fiction in Seven Spooky Steps aired! Written by Dan Harmon and directed by Tristram Shapeero, and it's like New York out there. #OriginalAiring

Oops, I missed this very important anniversary of MST3K: The Movie arriving in video rental stores October 1, 1996

MST3K The Movie debuted in theaters April 19, 1996 in a whopping 26 theaters nationwide, so I'll be celebrating the 30th anniversary in October when it was first available to rent on VHS. Nowadays you can go watch it free with ads on Pluto or Tubi or Bolus or Krumpo or whatever, and you should!

I just think when some guy from YouTube ruins his own life by being a dipshit, I should get to continue not knowing who he is instead of hearing about him all the time!

In honor of the passing of the great Walter Koenig, please enjoy this clip from The 1987 Fangoria Weekend of Horrors convention VHS featuring Walter Koenig and his son Andrew (who we all knew and loved as Boner on Growing Pains) attending the con.

My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.

In "Peanuts," Linus first mentioned the Great Pumpkin on October 26, 1959, creating what would go on to become an indelible cultural icon. Here’s that strip, followed by the rest of that week’s dailies:

David Silverman in 1991 talking about directing β€œThe Raven” from the very first β€œTreehouse of Horror,” which premiered on this day, October 25, 1990. 36 years later, Silverman directed β€œTreehouse of Horror XXXVII,” which will have its premiere tonight.

I don't love my centrist Dem rep but I must admit to enjoying roasting the Mar-A-Lago faced Fox News host washout Trump press secretary lookalike they talked into running against him

My buddy here told me many times that I should watch this movie, and I believed him, because he is wise. But I dallied. It was not anywhere near the top of my to-watch list. Friends, ONE CUT OF THE DEAD should be at the top of your list.

This post is unavailable.

My dad was killed in a head-on collision. In a modern car he'd almost certainly have survived. Crumple zones, airbags... human lives are more valuable than your Ford POS.

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

they usually change the ref in Japanese Simpsons. Some examples in JP Treehouse of Horror: "Look at me, I'm Davy Crockett!" β†’ "I'm Mozart!" "James Coco went mad in 15 minutes." β†’ "Elvis went mad in 15 minutes." "...and five John Denver Christmas specials." β†’ "...and Julio Iglesias dinner shows."

I am always amazed when a joke about an American celeb makes it into a foreign localization as-is.
