For those just joining the show, I'm a procedural artist who works primarily in Blender, and I'm entirely self-taught. A high school graduate who's handy w/ math, former self-pub sci-fi & fantasy writer who grew up in a computer tech house.

i remember a post talking about how nice the NSFW communnity is and it truly is. I don't think I've ever felt more welcomed in a community than with the freaky deaky people, sexworkers, nsfw artists😭 Like ppl demonize NSFW stuff so much but the ppl who make are some of the coolest peeps yet man.

Following up on a hot tip, seems a certain phrase in this post is automatically picking up likes from bots. Which offers a clue to who is paying to sway the message around here, or at least which direction their money is flowing.

I think the main thing is that I changed the scope of my game to focus on art that I could reasonably achieve with my current skill level so now it feels much less daunting to use. So if you are trying to make a game and feel overwhelmed by the art you need to make, just start smaller and have fun.

The games industry has always been run by autocrats because that's how capitalism operates, but in the past couple of years they've really ramped up their level of authoritarianism. They don't like workers banding together in unions to improve things and they're clamping down harder in response.
