The tory-installed clowns at #r4today have long had a love affair with right wing bloviators. I can never forget the endless cosy chats between Humprys and Farage in the lead up to the brexit vote. Sounds like Blue Robbo, Trumpy Webb and their mates are still at it. It's why I stopped tuning in.

As Nick Robinson interviews Farage on #r4today for the umpteenth time, may I remind you that BBC News has instituted a policy of trying to make itself more attractive to Reform voters. True story (see further down this thread for deets).
Nick Robinson just asked John Curtice if the BBC giving a platform to Farage & Reform was responsible for their popularity; presumably hoping to hear the polling guru say a resounding "no". Instead, Curtice said, "it's not just that, it's also how he uses it" So the answer's clearly yes. #r4today

I get that the media is slow to catch up with things. I'm in the media, I am slow to catch up with things. But the week Reform's crowd looks like this, the BBC chooses _this week_ to go live to Farage's endless remarks on the budget; makes absolutely no sense
By all accounts this is what most of the recent Reform media events have looked like. Bubble well and truly burst

I don't think I ever watched an episode of Star Trek (science fiction isn't my thing), but I thought casting a Russian while the Cold War was still raging, to make the point that humans would get along better in the future, was a lovely touch.
