We don’t know if the early vote will be predictive because all Republicans could just be waiting to vote until Election Day. But what this means in practice is that to win, Trump/GOP will have to have the most successful EDay mobilization operation in modern history— and that it’s completely stealth

As far as our data can tell this is pretty much unambiguously good news for Democrats. Young voters strongly favor the Dems this cycle, including young men allianceforyouthpower.org/wp-content/u...

My 3yo accidentally ordered 7 books on my Kindle. I returned the first 4. And Amazon wasn't letting me return the last three. After joining a chat, they say digital orders are non refundable. But heyy, bc I'm a valued customer, they will refund this order this one time. 🙄

Pisses me off because I immediately started this return. It's not like we downloaded the books, read them, and then tried to return them. Grrr

"Democratic success in Texas in this year’s election would be a psychic blow to the culture war-obsessed American right, making them think they’re losing the country." Strong endorse. Let's not forget that South Texas's 2024 swing to Trump was widely seen as the locus point of a major realignment:

Democrats are competitive in Texas. Talarico leads in Senate polls, Pulido's a favorite to flip a House seat, and Hinojosa narrowly trails for governor. If any win—esp. Talarico—it won't only shift institutional power, it'll be a psychic shock to the right. No wonder they're nervous. My latest:

This is why I'm always mad. Unjustifiable. Indefensible. Outrageous. Unacceptable. Unforgivable.

Does arresting the wife of an enlisted man and mother of four US citizen children, a person who’s been here since she was 6 years old, make our country great again?

NEW: ICE is trying to deport a mother of 4 while her husband is at Fort Benning in Army basic training. When she went to pick up the family's military IDs, Navy personnel turned her over to ICE. She's been in the US since age six. With @nancyayoussef.bsky.social www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...

5,145 mail ballots counted in Travis County. This is now a R+5 shift with the versus the mail '24. Not a great signal for a blue wave.

A total of 3,292 mail-in ballots have been counted so far in Travis County. The partisan breakdown is R+1 versus the same point with mail in '24. There were 7,685 mail ballots counted at this point in '24. I haven't seen a blue wave with the mail, at least yet.
