Trump didn't like Ramaswamy until he saw him sticking up for child rapists and their enablers. He hated the Ivy League until Cornell had a prominent fraternity gang-rape story in the news. He's not just a rapist, not just a serial rapist—he's a rape *enthusiast,* and it's why Republicans love him.
Trump: "What's happened is the press has ganged up on a woman making a horrible statement about her daughter, and I don't why she should be shielded. She said she was a dirty liar ... I say she's fair game."

the idea phase is the easiest and least valuable part of professional creativity. read the first draft of the first Star Wars if you doubt me Great art is made in the grinding, often miserable collision between the ethereal substance of an idea and the mud and blood and friction of reality

Huge follow-up reporting to my scoop: The Guardian confirmed America Next—the conservative nonprofit founded by Bobby Jindal that was offering students $ to disrupt El-Sayed events—paid a firm registered to Tommy Teepell’s dad Timmy $250k for “canvassing and influencer marketing” against El-Sayed.

SCOOP: 'Tommy' from the now-viral exchange with Abdul El-Sayed is Thomas Teepell, a former staffer for Republican Senator Josh Hawley with close ties to Christian Nationalist Sean Feucht. He's the son of a former Bobby Jindal staffer whose consultant work was instrumental in getting Hawley elected.

Every Republican and the vast majority of elected Democrats hate Ilhan Omar, the bravest member of congress we have, for one reason. Two actually, but they're the same thing: Muslim; rightfully criticizes the genocidal warmongering state Israel.
And from 2021 when they were all lining up to throw Ilhan Omar under the bus as a terrorist sympathizer. www.welcometohellworld.com/everything-a...

"You can be as mid at your job as you want when the easiest thing in the world is to make bullies laugh at the same victims they’ve always mocked. Shane Gillis isn’t brave. He’s the establishment." I wrote this. gossip-reading-club.ghost.io/some-thought...

Honestly the last time Twitter was fun was when Trump got Covid and that was one moment on a site that hadn’t really been fun for years. Peak Twitter was 2011-2016. Then it mostly sucked shit.
It's not even the ethics of it. My career, my hobbies, my free time, hell, my whole life took off once I fully left Twitter. It is a place to go if you want to be stuck in a neverending race war feedback loop. Like not using ChatGPT, not using Twitter is a superpower. Remain employable; stay off it.

I am way too online for my own good, and I had an unreasonably large twitter following, and I really *enjoyed* twitter for a lot of years, and yet leaving there and never looking back was maybe the easiest what-felt-like-a-big-ethical decision I've ever made.
