You unearthed our magic relic—Scribbles Font—and now you’re possessed, the words as though summoned from the depths… In the spirit of sorcery, we’re keeping the incantations coming: enjoy EIGHT new free fonts, FOUR of which are ENTIRELY ILLEGIBLE… just the way you like them!

I really appreciate all the #pwME who share their crashes, symptoms and general experiences on here. At least once a week I have a "wait, other people experience that too? I thought that was just me!" moment.

The smallest bat in North America is the canyon bat (Parastrellus hesperus), also called the western pipistrelle or American parastrelle. They weigh about 3–6 grams, the weight of a US penny, sheet of paper, or teaspoon of sugar. In flight, they're sometimes confused for moths or butterflies.

got caught in a time storm and briefly became one with a pilgrim who was known as Mrs. Leavitt before her time with the Agency— she smuggled me the scents i was tasked with finding and encouraged me and my lost love to fight ECCO X Time War

The Facial Expressions of Tethys by artist Julius von Bismarck. A suspended high-sea buoy that moves in real time. Sensors on a twin buoy out in the Atlantic Ocean send live satellite data to motors inside the museum. This makes the indoor buoy copy the exact, real-time movements of the ocean waves.

Interviewer: "Hey, uhm, why did you not do basic cybersecurity?" OpenAI: "well, you see, [sci-fi scenario] so we might as well not bother with the basic stuff" Fundamentally unserious, all this talk about not underestimating AI, all in service of not taking basic precautions

That's, that's not how crossing an air gap works. Please stop trying to scare people with a scenario involving transmitting a trillion parameter model across an air-gap with a channel that is less than 1 baud. Orders of magnitude less.

The core mechanic of The Many Sins of House Ocampo is the family tree, which you'll need to put together piece by piece in order to reconstruct the whole story. Find clues, add them to your inventory, and figure out who everyone is, where they belong on the board, how they died, and when 🧠

Astrophotographer Adam (AJ) Smadi caught this image a few hours ago from Washington state. A thin crescent Moon, sunlight illuminating the rugged lunar surface. And 2,400 times farther away—and on the other side of the Sun—mighty Jupiter, and its moons Io (left) and Ganymede (right).

everyone's like "you have to be a pervert to let yourself make art" and that's true but further than that you also have to let yourself be kind of pretentious
