erys is an extremely talented software developer btw. Cut its teeth on Quake Engines, learned C++ on the job, worked on the Sin 1 remaster, cares a great deal about code restoration without breaking changes AND on top of all of that is extremely competent with CMake! (and I don't say that lightly!!)
me and my partner are both unemployed and the job search is not going well. our food stamps applications have so far been denied and we need all the help we can get to get through the next month and a half. thank you. ko-fi.com/erysdren/goa... www.paypal.me/JaycieErysdren cash.app/$erysdren

This is what the end goal of AI and the attention economy is to me. The workers become intimidated when they can't meet the standards and they lose the patience to be an amatuer. The industry has neither the time nor money to take the financial risks on amatuers, so they replace the workers entirely
I don't think creating art is 100% a matter of genetic advantage but there is something to be said about how class and disability can factor in to how much you're able to hone your craft and whether or not you can meet the mainstream/academic standards
