Maybe the Habs should call up the entire Laval team, intact. They had no trouble protecting a 2-goal lead. That was a dominant performance and the Mittelstadt-Reinbacher pairing was outstanding.

My scouting report (from the worst hockey scout in the universe.) Mittelstadt looks GREAT. Brilliant assist on Laval's second goal, more than solid defensively. What a steal he could be at 197th in the draft.

I'm actually excited about the new CBC sports coverage that will take the place of HNIC. I want to see our skiers, figure skaters, biathletes and speed skaters outside the Olympics.
