I have been detained by Israeli security forces all day. Along with with MPs Clive Lewis, Lara Bird, MSP Kate Nevans, former MP Sam Tarry and campaigners from across the world, we were turned back because they don’t want anyone seeing their ethnic cleansing.

3 days in hospital with a surgical infection. Care was brilliant, from consultants to cleaners. Note to Rupert Lowe: 2 spoke what I (a language snob) would call perfect English: a surgeon from Mumbai & a nurse from Bulawayo. The rest learned English in Cornwall, so inclined to call me "My lovely."
