Does the majority assume their own view is odd and so go quiet in debate, thus enabling loud minorities?

I'm introducing no-mouse-Wednesday's in my company. On Wednesday's I unplug the mouse/don't touch the trackpad and only navigate the project's I'm working on with the keyboard. If I can't do the tasks with the same efficiency and quality as with the mouse, I write a ticket / fix the issue.
