This is as low as it gets. Donald Trump’s unfounded allegations of election fraud are inspiring election denial groups to harass nursing home residents and staff. I'm standing up for fair elections and pushing back on this attack on seniors’ voting rights.
A far-right campaign claiming leftists are stealing votes from nursing home residents has centered on changing guidance from Mehmet Oz's Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

I have to imagine being the bookeeper for some of these places is like being Harvey Guillén's Guillermo in "What We Do In The Shadows".
Like the weird part about being a mask mandatory bar was like… people consuming alcohol is how bars fund their rent payments and payroll? You can charge cover charges but they also didn’t effectively do that either. So what did they think running a bar would entail?

I don't know that there is a template or a "secret sauce" or a clear-cut lesson to take from this. But if there is one it's the idea of treating social media as the hostile territory that it is, of actually acting like you are a participant in propaganda warfare and not like a consumer.

As a narrative designer/game director/AAA consultant myself with a background in various forms of storytelling, "these stories are bad and won't adapt well to other media" is an optional problem, the main issue wrt story is that writers are brought on late or demanded to explain game issues

Kind of amazing how quickly CBS Sunday Morning went from a regular part of my household's weekend routine, to a program I won't even consider watching anymore.
CBS deleted this post and reposted it admitting that their original one was misleading. And the misleading post from CBS was intentionally misleading, not an innocent mistake. CBS continues to lose credibility.
"Obama's Cheesecake Factory joke" spans multi-day news cycle, reporters rush to get Donald Trump's comments is basically a microcosm of American politics circa 2011-2015.
Trump is BIG MAD about Obama saying the White House now looks like Saddam opened a Cheesecake Factory: "He's not a smart guy. He's not smart at all ... for you to say it's a Cheesecake Factory, that just shows why you were a lousy president"
One time the Romney campaign hand-delivered a "You Didn't Build That" cake to the DSM HQ. bsky.app/profile/zeet...

their relationship began when she started cheating on her second husband with sean. he told his priest he wanted to marry his mistress, priest said no way, so he left the church. but sure. “faith and family” as the foundation. 👍
The couple celebrates their union, emphasizing faith and family as the foundation of their new life together. Stated Judgement: (+0.5, +0.5) — Constructive 🌐

The Hard Hat Riot is the single most important and consequential independently organized labor action in post-Gilded Age American history but the entire left-of-center has deliberately chosen to completely forget it because of how utterly embarrassing it is to us

The median price for a square foot in Jamaica Plain is almost $650 dollars.
Boston’s chief planner is a true believer in the San Francisco model, in which you make it impossible to profitably build apartments by-right so developers are forced into a politicized discretionary negotiation with the city, which relaxes the rules in exchange for below-market units.

Nov 4 - the reason Dems lost [insert close but not quite Dem Senator here] is because Obama insulted [state’s voters] by saying their Cheesecake Factory was not good enough. - sincere OpEd piece by Bret Bedbug Stephens
"The party left me. I used to be a Democrat, but know that Obama has made fun of Trump for making the White House look like a dictator designed an over-the-top chain restaurant I favor starving African children and bringing measles back"
I have met dozens of people like this individual while working campaigns; and they always broadcast huge, flashing “I am a a huge crank” signs to every candidate event they attend.
I get this a lot. The thing is, I went to a top ten law school. I got a JD and even a concentration in law & public policy. In American Democracy. I worked as a JAG for a decade, doing criminal appellate defense, federal administrative law, & human rights law. Politics works as I said.
The best attorneys I ever worked with were the ones that operated voter contact out of their offices, and the worst were the once that got drunk and berated the finance coordinators for not giving them time with the candidate. bsky.app/profile/miss...
And yet, you post as an anon internet rando who barges into conversations unrelated to anything about you and lose the plot immediately.... Actually that does sound like a lot of arrogant, dumb lawyers I know.
