#AchtungKunde #SupportBankrott

Also doch wieder zurück zum selbst hosten? Das hat die 15 Jahre davor ja auch funktioniert. 😅

Hi protocol friends! I've been cooking up a Very Large PDS (vlpds) implementation capable of scaling up to billions of accounts and down to just one. It uses Object Storage as its only state, supports HA operation, live scaling up and down, is feature-complete with the reference PDS, and is FOSS.

Re: "Funding for Omarchy is good news for the Linux ecosystem overall" No it's not

"Omarchy is not just a distribution, but it's also a counterweight to all the nonsense that has plagued Linux for far too long. It's a refuge from the clowns and the circus that has been Linux politics since the old institutions got infiltrated."

Understands that data accuracy is everything when money is involved. You test thoroughly because you know a bug here affects the bottom line. Maybe you've heard of the Saga pattern? 😉

Has a "product mindset" for internal tools. You believe the tools our employees use should be just as polished as the ones our customers use. #ProductEngineer

(The Big One) Has experience with billing systems or usage-based pricing models (Stripe API experience is a huge plus). Experience with other payment providers such as Adyen, Chargebee, Mollie, etc. is also fine.
