These people don’t want to win; they don’t even want to persuade. They want a world where they are a pure and rarified elite, with none of the responsibilities of actual power, only the smug gratification of being right.

I'll simply say this, for 2028 & beyond, David & Angie should be a model for the different parts of the Dem party working together. This kind of partnering is what it's going to take to burn MAGA to the fucking ground. If you're uncomfortable w/ that, get comfortable or get the fuck out of our way!

It’s so funny 2 months ago after the primary, a bunch of online politicos were like “Jolly/Nixon is a weird ticket; they disagree on so much” Angie/David were like “it doesn’t matter; our coalitions are united against MAGA” And now, looks like the duo offline & doing the work were right!

Obama lives rent free in Trump’s head. Always has. Always will. Besides this being the ‘gayest midterms’ ever (according to Jesse), Trump saying ‘I don’t give a damn. We’re making a fortune’ when stock trading more in 1 day than Pelosi did in 12 years, is what voters are hearing from the President.

I think AOC has the opportunity to present herself as the most authentic candidate in 2028, especially when contrasted with her rivals. I think she could blend Obama’s optimism and cosmopolitanism with Bernie’s populism. Combined with Millennials overtaking boomers, I don’t rule out her chances
