My coder friends are all being told by their bosses that elegant code-writing no longer matters under AI. Now is the age of "generalists w with taste." But ofc the bosses aren't elevating the coders with good taste, ppl who know what's useful to normal ppl. It's the AI gooner taste they elevate.
