No mention for the 2001 season of BBC News 24 I see - I mean it started slowly for the first few months but it went really hard in the last quarter...

Great week for Tarantino to grump about the state of the film industry - with the top two box office chart positions being taken by Gen-Z kids working with tiny budgets... Sucks to be the fresh young thing no more, I guess.

About a year ago I put a fiver on Al Carns being PM, and will make £400 if he does... I fear this is influencing my political judgement on matters of National Importance.

I just had a go at asking Claude to check and adjust the bibliography on a literature review (that's about the evils of letting AI near kids, yeah I know) - and spent an hour unpicking its nonsense... lucky no one's suggesting we run whole countries on this nonsense...

Between you and me I quite like falling asleep in films - nap time feels like it counts double in the cinema plus you get your own personalised "sleep canon" of the story. Thanks, Secret Agent for yesterday's snooze!

"Oh, I wonder what happened to this composer whose work I used to like - checks online - oh, new work - an album - what's this? Controversy? Transphobia? Supports who?" FFS. Wankers.

Protester in Minnesota: I’m 70 years old and I’m fucking angry *disappears into gas*

Two incredible lead performances in The Bone Temple - its also funny, touching, looks fantastic, is utterly horrific and very British. Might go sneak out and see it again...

MARTY SUPREME was annoying... packed out cinema which was lovely to see but couldn't there have been a SINGLE character in its 150 minutes who wasn't a piece of shit?

I love it when my kids make jokes to me on messages that show we have EXACTLY the same sense of humour (whether through cultural or genetic links I don't know).

Popped up on World at One today talking about audiobooks - did pretty well considering I was thinking about audiobooks in any ways until an hour before I was on!

I've just seen the new Sleaford Mods video and realised that I used to chat with Gwendoline Christie when she worked at Pussy (an interior design shop) and went to the same Brighton clubs as me 20 years ago... somehow I didn't make the connection.
