People said hardest. Some said hardest in a hundred years. You thought those people weren’t specific enough. Others said ninety-seven. The man down the hill agreed, he said I was alive then. He said everything died. ~from "Hardest" by Philip James Shaw AGNI Online

In 2022 I had to borrow a skateboard for the Navajo Nation parade. This time I built my own at a skate shop in Tempe. The hard part is they just had to close their storefront because of tariffs. Small businesses like this shouldn't be paying the price for bad ideas in Washington.

GREAT NEWS: A judge just voided President Trump's settlement with the IRS granting him immunity from audits and referred a Trump lawyer and DOJ officials who signed off on the settlement ‌to state bar authorities to determine if their actions violated legal ethics rules.

I wince at civic pride over imported sports ball. I wince because we should be focused on pride that leads to equity, not just proud that we can slap on makeup and a new outfit and shake it for the tourists.

E. Jean Carroll didn't just "accuse" Trump of sexual assault. She won a civil lawsuit against Trump for sexual assault. A jury found that Trump sexually assaulted her. She deserves for us to call it what it is.

Trump: "We have enough nuclear weapons to blow up the world 150 times." But I guess that's not enough because he wants $7 billion MORE for nuclear weapons. Because that's what families are begging for: Less affordable housing, so Trump can blow up the world 151 times.

📌Barack Obama was targeted 11 times in assassination attempts during this two terms. I bet you don't remember any of them because they were handled through proper channels, professionally, and he isn't a whiny bitch.

"An entire lane of solo drivers on Denny Way between Seattle Center and I-5 can fit into one articulated Route 8 bus, and a dedicated transit lane would allow that bus to be over four times faster than driving along this section" — @cmtmosqueda.bsky.social Cars just don't scale well in cities.

Jason Rantz is actually right for once. Bus lanes *do* destroy traffic.

Everytime I come to Seattle now, I think…if I never see another Henry creature mural again, that’d be too soon. Seattle’s new waterfront is so beautiful but all the businesses and such are garish in their design. It’s sad. All this beautiful work plastered with cartoons.

So good!
