Beyond a new rape allegation, the @democrats-judiciary.house.gov report implicates current Attorney General Todd Blanche, stating he "may have engaged in criminal obstruction of justice while acting on a mission to protect Trump," referring to an interview with Ghislaine Maxwell. Seems like news!

One benefit of holding leaders accountable for crimes is that if Flávio Bolsonaro tries to overturn this election, he knows exactly where he’d end up. In prison, next to his father.

Happy Saturday. 🔵D +18 swing in voter reg. of mail/early in-person voting in UTAH statewide as of Oct 24, 2022-2026. Watch for the UNA vote share to rise, so REP share may not recover much even if DEM is maxed out (22% of 2026 votes cast so far vs. 15% of reg. voters-more data on that to come...)

So of course I had to look myself up with Google’s AI assistant.

1 in 5 voters plans to use AI to research their 2026 midterm ballot, and 40% already get election details via AI search summaries, even though just 1% trust it as their most credible source. We've moved past deep fakes as the biggest election concerns.

Utah County’s GOP drop among age 30+. Wow. And the county’s GOP’s overall new/updated registration rate is only at 49.4%.

Jacob S. Rugh@jakerugh.bsky.social

1 in 5 Utah County voters have registered or updated their registration since Jan. 2025: 49% registered Republican vs 59% for those who registered before 2025, a difference or drop of -10 points. And the drop is 2× as steep among voters age 30+than age 18-29. In Utah County. Let that sink in.

While the Utah Republican Party still dominates the state, Utah’s Republican Party has been taken over by the extreme right and more Utahns are unwilling to be part of it.

When I joined the USAF, Putin was a member of the Soviet Union's secret police assigned to East Germany working with their hated secret police (Stasi). Where the hell are Utah's Senators and Representatives?

Humiliating and dangerous: Trump has now finally just made America an ally of the Kremlin and is aiding Putin in his war against an American friend and partner. Shameful betrayal of a US friend, and pathetic submission to a US enemy. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/1...

Albania's corrupt government secretly sold a popular nature preserve to Jared Kushner to be bulldozed for an exclusive resort, and Albanians responded by burning everything to the ground.

The Supreme Court burns to the ground in Albania, Parliament and the Department of Education has been stormed, the Prime Minister is in hiding and the country is effectively in the hands of the rebels. Albania rejects blatant corruption and their country being sold.

Funny story: After Maryland Rep. Andy Harris blocked marijuana legalization in DC, residents would call up his office to complain about potholes and stuff. When the staffer would explain that they weren't constituents, they'd yell something to the effect of, "Then stop fucking with our weed!"

Republican Rep. Andy Harris incorrectly told a reporter they were breaking the law as the reporter and others recorded an exchange with him last night. Harris had just wrapped up a debate with Democratic challenger Dan Schwartz.
