i don't imagine there are news outlets that would be interested since it only affects twitch streamers and we are lower than dirt, but the new AI "content warnings" that twitch has introduced for sponsored streams are crazy. it monitors what you're saying and pings you if you say a word like "beer"

denying a streamer payment because AI flagged what they said would create 100x more work for them and twitch support is already completely cooked. this way frightens streamers into being stilted little robots without them having to get into the difficult work of arbitrating what their contract says

from what i can tell there are zero consequences to this. you just get a little warning that you have to acknowledge. why does it exist, then? and why wouldn't they be explicit about it? perhaps because keeping it vague means they can threaten enforcement for something they would never enforce

Well, we're suspended from Twitch for (???) days. And we don't know what we did to get suspended. And Twitch won't tell us. So. Pretty cool! Thank you Twitch. Also we took down the VOD channel for the time being just in case that counts as "ban evasion." Anyway. Hopefully we'll be back soon???

i finally finished The Mirror & the Light; admittedly i have not read a lot of fiction as an adult but the trilogy completely blew me apart. i will be moping around lost now that i can't simply pick it up and be back with the lads from austin friars. i woke up thinking of the final scene. five stars
