Milk so aged it could itself be a weapon. '94 President Clinton praises Ukraine’s courageous decision to surrender its nuclear arsenal, pledging full US support for its independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also considers it unlikely that russia would ever attempt to seize Crimea.

BREAKING: WASHINGTON (AP) — Trump puts new Russia sanctions passed by Congress on hold, saying a waiver is in the US national interest.

For the people in the back. (Ahem) IF YOU RUN ADS ON YOUR AD-FREE PLAN THEN IT IS NO LONGER AN AD-FREE PLAN!!! Thank you, and good night.

Let me guess, more bomb threats on election day at busy voting locations in democrat areas in close races? These people are craven.

US president tells a rally in Ohio that he believes there will be a 'big surprise' in the upcoming elections https://aje.news/2e8ykj

Sending a third aircraft carrier and thousands more troops into harms way at a cost of billions of dollars to open a straight that wasnt closed until he bombed Iran for no good reason. Great job Mr. President! 🫡

USC deserves to lose for injuring and hospitalizing Dante Moore on a cheap shot and then celebrating it. Number 8 on their defense should be suspended and fined. SC always overrated and arrogant. Enjoy the L. 👍 #Ducks

Love this. And I believe it.

Dolly Parton rose from poverty to stardom. She gave $500 to every student in her hometown who finished high school; she built hospitals & bald eagle preserves; her Imagination Library has gifted 300 million books to children. Roger Ebert met her and came away thinking she was a literal angel. RIP.

This is how our government has been corrupted: 1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office 2) Elected officials rewrite rules in the donors' favor 3) Donors make huge profit 4) Repeat We must get big money out of politics. It is the root of our dysfunction.

Huge corporations like Amazon, Walmart, and Uber are among the top employers of SNAP and Medicaid recipients. Meanwhile, their CEOs are raking in multi-million dollar pay packages. How is this not a bigger scandal?

Bust up big corporations and tackle Wall Street’s greed. Get big money out of politics. Strengthen unions and boost wages. Pass Medicare for all, paid leave, universal childcare, and so much more... This is the agenda Democrats need to fight for. It's not enough to simply be anti-Trump.

Nothing good? Lol. Massive reduction in oil consumption and rapid deployment of EVs is more good than most policies in western countries. Western carmakers aren't fully committed to EVs, it's an iPhone moment and they're still hanging on to flip phones and physical keyboards for CEO golden 🪂. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Robin Brooks@robin-j-brooks.bsky.social

China's car exports have gone vertical in the past 6 months. That's mostly EVs and I hear a lot of people cheering this, but there's nothing good about this. We've seen this movie before. The result has been devastation of Western industry and job losses... robinjbrooks.substack.com/p/china-is-w...

When you make 1 trillion dollars, you have won the game. They should give you a parade and a gold statue. And then take away all your money and you start New Game+ with tougher enemies.

To everyone who helped bring the Obama Presidential Center to life, thank you. Michelle and I are so grateful for all your dedication and hard work over the years. I got a little teary-eyed tonight thinking about my mother-in-law, Marian Robinson.

Elon Musk spent $290 million getting Trump elected. During this midterm cycle, he's spent $85 million. In total, that’s 0.0375% of his $1 trillion net worth. Oligarchs can rig the system at the expense of everyone else, and only spend pennies doing so. We must get Big Money out of politics.

It's all about progress, not perfection - electrifying things like this, which normally start up and run for a short period of time before shutting off, providing - generally - quite a bit more emissions than an engine that's warmed up over time, is critical towards addressing GHG/AQ emissions.

My mother-in-laws refrigerator prompts my phone to pair with it when I walk in her house. There is zero reason for this other than the fridge company wants to collect peoples' data. Dems are for consumers, GOP are for corporations.

I'm glad someone is thinking about bank CEOs. I was very concerned about the CEOs when I heard that the regular people can't afford their necessities.

BREAM: The Journal says percentage of delinquent credit card balances is 13%, the highest in 15 years. People are using them for necessities. Your message to them? HASSETT: We talk to CEOs of the credit card companies all the time, and there's not any threat to them. People are taking a bit longer.
