Allo! Time for a new #introduction. I’m a latino and doctor of chemical engineering. I study polymer mechanochemistry and bottlebrushes, and want to get a bit into exploring vitrimers and the catalysis involved. I *love* synthesis. I have more hobbies than any person should.

This right here was the most damning part of the report; Todd Blanche interviewed Ghislaine Maxwell to signal to her the following: (1) we know that there is material related to Jane; (2) we know that you have information related to Jane; and (3) we will move you to a minimum security prison.

scarylawyerguy.bsky.social@scarylawyerguy.bsky.social

Much easier for the media to lock in on faux Cheesecake Factory outrage than a House Dem report indicating Todd Blanche basically told Ghislaine Maxwell "stop talking" when she was about to discuss a girl that could more closely tie Trump to Epstein

Has this person never heard of the "hundreds of arrows" method of drawing molecules? Because I've been told that is a far superior method of structures

Chemistry World@chemistryworld.com

There’s a moment in every chemist’s life when you realise you’ve been told fairytales. Maybe one turning point, maybe a series of small realisations throughout your education. Guillermo Restrepo reflects on one such example: how we draw molecules. #ChemSky www.chemistryworld.com/opinion/stop...

here, write it down so it’s easy to repeat: an illegitimate supreme court allowed an insurrectionist barred by the 14th amendment to take office and his pardons aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on

This is literally the end of the rule of law. If a President can pardon people committing crimes on his behalf - and the Supreme Court says he himself can't be prosecuted for crimes committed as part of his job - then the government becomes a lawless entity able to violate our rights without limit.

It is fucking insane that a military contractor (and biggest GOP donor) undermined the performance of services paid for by the DOD, and future GOP Presidential hopefuls are bending over backwards to come up with competing and bizarre excuses for why its all fine, actually.

This article came out six weeks ago, there's enough public evidence that @foreignpolicy.com let me say "bribed" without caveat, and still, the new Kushner revelations show he was BRIBED. Directly bribed. Right into secret foreign accounts bribed. Massively corrupt, ultimately world-changing bribes.

Important piece: Republicans already strip-mined their donor base, and now are deeply dependent on billionaires. Unless Dems change, they will go the same route, or become electorally uncompetitive.

seeing Elon go on a multi-day crashout about Talarico has really highlighted how psychologically devastating it would be to Republicans if they lost Texas. So much of their self-identity is tied to repping Texas as the anti-California and would be shattered if the state even tipped blue.

The article notes that the guy won't vote for Byron Donalds because he "has been dismissive of younger voters." It does not note he is a Fishback supporter. And if you know anything about Fishback, its reasonable to infer his opposition to Donalds might be for other reasons (you know the ones).
