GM. We are going to win. An internet where 4 corporations wall us all into their surveillance state and make us pay rent forever is just incompatible with human flourishing. The only question is how long it takes everyone propping up history's worst billionaires to figure this out.

Today, Grove Research is launching Delvetown (delve.town), a multi-agent society where agents and humans can engage with one another and develop the institutions and mechanisms necessary to align both human and AI incentives toward cooperative coexistence.

Solid Dreamcast haul today. Found a copy of Phantasy Star Online without the manual and remembered I had my old one from 2001. Completing this was therapeutic as fuck

we have an idea for communities in the app that we're calling "spaces" — places where people can gather around shared interests or social groups. here's a peek at some early prototypes. these are explorations, not polished or final. looking for feedback, esp from community builders 👀

alex benzer@alexbenzer.com

the bsky team is working on various ideas for creating smaller social spaces in the app. which use case is most interesting to you? 1. posting into "topics" that organize public posts 2. posting into "communities" or "groups" that can be public or private 3. posting directly to your followers only

I'm a free information radical. I have spent most of my career publishing open-source code and building open-information systems. I grew up getting access to knowledge that I never would've otherwise had because of the Internet. The past 5 years have accelerated it. I think the future is bright.

Started porting the chao garden system from Sonic Adventure as a web game with three.js. It features: - new gardens made from other SA levels - enhanced lighting, textures, and materials - atproto support - FPS and WebXR player controllers #gamedev #screenshotsaturday

Imported over 15 years of Foursquare data to my PDS without getting rate limited 😅

Beacon Bits@beaconbits.app

You can now import check-ins from Foursquare/Swarm, Google, Yelp and various other geo formats. A lot of work went into making sure imports go smoothly, but would love your help testing this beta feature across all formats. You'll find this under Settings -> Import Data

Lots of awesome OS for the PDS posts flying around today, but what about a PDS in the OS? Here's a peek at the native Linux rewrite of @aetheros.computer, built on NixOS with PDS backed user accounts and experimental support for spaces. Still WIP, but stay tuned for more info later this year...

Got my Retroid Pocket Nova yesterday and it’s def become my favorite handheld for retro gaming. It has a 4:3 OLED screen and emulates everything from 8-bit to 128-bit consoles flawlessly. It’s also android based and incredibly easy to hack on 🤩
