Take a look at this, then decide if you want a person with such a lack of self-control running this country. Vote accordingly.

Trump snarls at reporter: Quiet. Quiet! What's wrong with you? Are you a sick person?

Are there separate incoming US $ accounts divided between Republicans and Democrats? If so, why are 50% of the country’s citizens getting shortchanged on “income?”

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "Because of tariffs, we are taking in hundreds of billions of dollars of profits. It's one of the reasons I can offer, if Republicans win the House and Senate, $5,000 to every adult. We can do it and the Democrats can't, because the Democrats don't have any income."

Admission of a crime; anyone going to do anything about this?

Headquarters@headquartersnews.bsky.social

Q: MAGA Inc., the Super PAC that your allies control-- Trump: Not my allies, I control. $800M. I could spend it on anything I want. I have a busy schedule. I won. I'm not campaigning. A lot of people are angry at Republicans. They are not angry at me.

ACKSHULLY Ben Judaism is the religion of the Jewish people, but one's Jewishness is NOT defined by a # of ritual acts. Stewart + Sanders are Jews. To my great consternation, so are you + Ivanka, even tho each of you violate more Torah concepts every day than either of them could in a lifetime.

This story is indeed insane. They literally *discounted his correct answers* (on questions about the Constitution) so that a Trump supporting girl who wants to go to Hillsdale College could win $25K and be televised meeting Trump. So. Gross.

This story is crazy. It would appear Trump admin officials rigged their nationally televised high school civics contest to keep a young man from a Sikh family out of the finalists. www.notus.org/national/ame...

What about Americans who don’t own stocks? Who don’t have health insurance anymore, due to him? What about Americans who don’t have enough food to eat? Who can’t afford gasoline or rent? He doesn’t care at all.

right. because U.S. refineries have imported 1.65 billion barrels in the last 12 months from Canada just for the decorative value. 🙄

Trump: "Hey, we don't need anything that Canada has, we don't know anything that Mexico has, but they need everything that we have. And they have to treat us better."

“That’s the way life goes.” Trump, as always reading the room.

Q: The NBA Finals game you're going to, the cheapest ticket price is $8,000. Everyday Americans can't afford these sporting events. TRUMP: You can watch it on TV. It's sort of semi-free to watch it on TV. That's the way life goes.

These are absolutely hideous numbers for Trump in the latest ABC/WaPo/Ipsos polling. His approval is miles underwater on inflation, the cost of living, Iran, the economy, taxes, even immigration.

Also, sorrysorrysorry, JD Vance said, “If you're going to opine on matters of theology, you've got to be careful, you've got to make sure it's anchored in the truth,” TO THE POPE?! I don't know, guys. The president started a war with no plan and crashed the world economy, is building immense monuments to himself, is making billions off the presidency, and is now attacking the Pope while presenting himself as Jesus. Maybe the political class should abandon the inside voice.

BREAKING: Pope Leo XIV declares the Iran War is “unjust” and “is not resolving anything.” After suggesting Trump is committing war crimes by targeting civilian infrastructure, he called on Americans to contact Congress to help end the war.

GOP Senators John Kennedy and Ted Cruz devised this off-ramp, Kennedy says on Fox: "Senator Thune submitted that to President Trump. As is his right, he said no. ‘No deals with the Democrats.’ It would have worked. We could have had TSA paid by the end of the week. But the president said no deal."

The Constitution clearly gives Congress the power to spend taxpayer funds, and no law allows the president to halt if he feels some US states aren’t being “good stewards” of the money. In case there’s any confusion on this, the Impoundment Control Act forbids it. Taxation without representation.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

JD Vance: "We're announcing today that we have decided to temporarily halt certain amounts of Medicaid funding that is going to the state of Minnesota in order to ensure that the state of Minnesota takes its obligations seriously to be good stewards of the American people's tax money."

Melinda Kohn reposted

Blocking some federal #Medicaid $ for MN is just another step in the Admin’s unlawful/unconstitutional spending actions like impoundment over the last year. This would also be a violation of Medicaid law as states like MN are *entitled* to federal $ unless CMS goes through the proper admin process.
