BREAKING: The U.S. Department of Justice announced on Friday that it reached an “agreement” with Mount Sinai Health System in which it will “cease providing” gender-affirming medical care to minors and dedicate $2 million to providing care to those “suffering harmful consequences” of such care.

We have an exciting announcement: Students from the Kappa Alpha Pi pre-law fraternity will be working with us during their fall semester to create guides for several new states! We’re excited to share more of what comes out of this partnership. Stay tuned! 💜

I'm so sad. No one should be forced to remain closeted in order to meaningfully participate in the sports they love. That's what I was forced to do and no one should experience that.

No ruling will ever change what we know to be true: trans youth deserve to play, to learn + to exist freely. Trans youth need to know their community is with them, no matter what the Supreme Court says. Share this post + leave a note of support so every trans young person knows they are not alone.💜

Forms are now easier to access! We’ve embedded them right inside of the guides that explain the steps for a name change. No more switching back and forth between tabs.

Kansas is one of 5 states to prohibit trans people from changing gender markers on ID, and first to pass a law that retroactively cancels licenses.

This story, from @natezuke.bsky.social, is absolutely wild. A trans woman who never changed her gender marker was issued a letter invalidating her license. At the DMV they cut up her license, which had an "M" marker. www.assignedmedia.org/breaking-new...

As of tonight, licenses of trans people across Kansas are being invalidated en masse, enabling the overnight criminalization of an entire group of people for going about our lives. It’s often said you never know when you’re living through history, so let me assure you: that’s what’s happening now.
