I like Ryan and think he's well intentioned. At the same time, he has provided air-cover for folks who serially polluted the digital ecosystem for those less well-off, and was happy to dismiss me, no matter how much quiet work I did in the background *before* raising my voice publicly.

simple enough it's possible to reason about from first principles is much more important than "the agent knows it"

I see the justification for going w/ React is "agents know React". Yes this is true. Still a bad call.

I threw together hyper terminal cube in a couple of hours for a Create Code Toronto presentation. Here's the presentation! youtube.com/watch?v=KOKN... Rewatching it, cringing. I need to learn how to explain what the heck a pty is, haha

Hyper terminal cube 6x `div`'s rotated with vanilla css, datastar repopulating each face (div) 24 times a second with the screen grid of the live running ptys youtu.be/95I16PhX_r8

a little util that's become essential in my stack. if you work on remote vms and want to interact with services from your local laptop, pai-sho makes specified ports available on your localhost. ports reconnect when your laptop wakes up. built on @iroh.computer 🙏 github.com/cablehead/pa...

bit of an easter egg.. the ux is still a bit rough, you can give an LLM the stacks2099/README.md and then the url of the instance it's running in, and ask it, "embed the site we are working on, in our current stack"

stacks2099 release :: v0.4.0 lots of focus on international keyboards; öé alt-* keybindings are gone, trying a <leader> style of ux, mod+k and then plain character style actions. there's a navigate mode for plain characters, only diffs will be in the next one github.com/cablehead/st...

i had an epiphany: given we need a high-quality terminal running on the server, why do we need a real terminal running in the browser, too? can we just broadcast the server's screen state as html? and yes, you can. so this is now running nushell + datastar + http-nu + wezterm, and no ghostty-wasm

experimenting with "mux"-ing ghostty-web in a browser. each pane connects to a real nushell pty on the server, that's preserved between refreshes / reconnects
