21 May 1971, Marvin Gaye released his album 'What's Going On'. The concept album told the story of a Vietnam veteran returning to the country he had been fighting for, and seeing only the hatred, suffering and injustice. It is regarded as 1 of the greatest albums of the 20th century. #WhatsGoingOn

A reminder: The Attorney General of the United States should be the people's lawyer, not the president's personal attorney. The Department of Justice should act to protect the public, not the occupant of the Oval Office and his political allies.

Trump/DOJ secret "release of claims:" Waives all claims against Trump by the US. Trump, family & businesses cannot be investigated, audited or sued by US government including all US agencies FOREVER, even after he leaves office. It forfeits our rights, money & democracy. #momsky #sheshed

Can't thank Stephen Colbert enough for the decades of laughs he's given us. He's been positively therapeutic in these troubled times & I can't wait to see what he does next! 👀 (plus, he let me sit behind his desk) 🙏

Chris Murphy: "It's just disgusting, it's so heartbreaking that we have a president who is cheerleading the death of American citizens. Mueller is amongst many who have been trying to hold this president to account. He's the most corrupt president in the history of the country."

FORWARD 💙 Wisconsin has joined the World Health Organization, following California and Illinois’ lead and the current president’s lack of leadership 👏🏾

The psycho, Witkoff, Kushner claim Iran has revived its nuke efforts, holds enough fissile mat'l to produce a bomb w/i days & is has long-range missile tech that could soon reach America, assertions that are unsupported by either available evidence or directly contradicted by current assessments.

So…Trump bombing an elementary school, during school hours, killing 40 children, is an international war crime. Right?

A tariff “refund” mostly goes to whoever wrote the tariff check: the importer of record. That’s not the same person who paid more at the register. So refunds -- if they're offered -- might sound like consumer relief, but in reality, they're corporate windfalls.

I just want to live in a country where the leader can’t enrich themselves with our tax dollars, the government does what the people want, and the wealthy have to follow the laws. You know, like a democracy.

I feel that at least 90% of tariff $ importers paid were imposed on consumers. Why does every article I read state giving the refunds to the importers? It’s absolutely absurd to imagine there’s a path to repaying consumers. I’d love to hear any theories as to how this could be accomplished.

Six months ago I asked ChatGPT how much money has been spent in legal fees defending Trump’s and maga’s illegal activities. $604,000,000!! 1. Federal litigation: $60,000,000 2. Special counsel/DOJ: $25,000,000 3. State/local aggregate (WaPo): $519,000,00o Ain’t that some shit

Raskin: "I want the whole country to look at this. This is the attorney general of the US whose job is law enforcement. We've never had a witness who has misunderstood our rules and been unable to conform his or her conduct to our rules before. Excuse me."

I’ve watched a lot of congressional hearings over the last 40 years. This performance by Bondi is the single most unprofessional, non-responsive, reprehensible and obnoxious I have ever seen from any witness who has testified before any committee of either chamber.
