Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has won reelection, defeating Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, an ally of President Donald Trump, in a razor-thin race that capped a deeply polarized presidential race. https://cnn.it/4e0XHZv

A CNN investigation has found that while Jared Kushner acted as a key Middle East peace negotiator, his private equity firm held the largest stake in an Israeli company backing businesses tied to Israel’s military campaign in Gaza, including its largest arms manufacturer. https://cnn.it/4AIwBQs

It is profoundly un-American for President Trump to ban my colleagues from the White House grounds. In protest, I plan to give him a good ribbing about that when we break bread at next year’s White House Correspondents Dinner.

Bloomberg reports that officials directly involved in an internal Pentagon investigation found that Peter Thiel’s Palantir Maven Smart System played a significant role in the February 28 U.S. strike on the Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School in Minab, Iran.

My kids have measles, I can't afford gas or steak, I can't get a mortgage, and I have explosive diarrhea from a parasite that the CDC no longer monitors. But at least now there are signs outside the Smithsonian accusing the curators of political bias.

Doctors say that the measles outbreak in Pennsylvania is likely due to low rates of vaccination. A guy who snorts cocaine off toilet seats and drives around with dead bear cubs in his van says it’s caused by chemtrails. For busy Americans, it can be hard to know who to trust.

America first? Don Jr. didn’t even have the decency to be bankrolled by an American oligarch.

Look at this photo we found from Donald Trump Jr.’s lavish Bahamas wedding. Can you spot the Russian oligarch close to Putin who bankrolled the event? 🧵

Food companies wanted deregulation. Now there are dozens of recalls across the country. Mining companies wanted deregulation. Now the black lung rate is at a 45-year high. Financial companies wanted deregulation. Now financial losses to fraud are the highest on record. Noticing a pattern?

The Supreme Court just upheld the 14th Amendment’s promise that if you’re born here, you are a citizen. President Trump’s effort to upend birthright citizenship has been struck down for good.

Alex Haley grew up in Tennessee. He traced his family tree back to his original enslaved, African ancestor, then wrote 'Roots'. He received a Pulitzer Prize for it. Knoxville just banned it 'cause it might make white kids sad.

Today I traveled to Selma with my colleagues in Congress to take a stand against the radical right-wing plot to suppress Black political representation and dismantle our democracy by gutting the Voting Rights Act. We’ve made too much progress in this country to go backwards. We won’t be silenced.

BREAKING: 16 years after Citizens United, Hawaii's S.B. 2471—a bill under which Hawaii would no longer grant corporations the power to spend in its politics—has passed both chambers with bipartisan support and is now one step away from Gov. Green’s desk… Eliminating “Citizens United” in Hawaii. 😎✨

Cannot stress enough that what's happening now and will accelerate over next few weeks is a big spike in fuel costs paid for by every American that will flow *directly* into insane, unprecedented profits for American oil companies. They're going to be the big winners of this.

They aren't giving away their wealth, but they are pumping it into our elections. The concentration of wealth in the hands of a few isn't just bad for our economy. It's corrosive to our democracy. When the super-rich control our political system, regular people don't have a voice.

The impressive thing about Baylor Scheierman is that he puts in a solid performance for the Celtics every game and still manages to deliver those UPS packages on time.

I wanna point out something serious. The admin has been complaining about Iran winning the information war. This same administration shut down Voice of America, and other information operations the US govt does. It’s a self goal. Actions have consequences

The same people who were eagerly attending Trump cult rallies are criticizing No Kings. Belonging to a community(albeit toxic community) was a benefit of MAGA for a lot of people. Now they resent progressives engaging in their own community.

A bill passed the Senate last night 100-0 to fund TSA, the Coast Guard and FEMA. If Speaker Johnson called it for a vote it would pass easily. But he won’t do that. Because Trump has ordered him to keep TSA shut down and keep the chaos. Pure incompetence.

Jared Kushner is claiming to be a "volunteer" in his work as an envoy. But I don't think someone qualifies as a "volunteer" in a job where they are trying to shake down everyone they deal with for monetary compensation.

Videos show flames and a plume of thick smoke following an explosion at a Valero oil refinery in Port Arthur, Texas. Police have told local media they believe an industrial heater caused the blaze and there are no reports of injuries.
