Recent months have seen police issuing "warnings" and "cautions" about pedestrian safety in Vancouver, Winnipeg, Regina and Ottawa after spikes in pedestrian collisions. Just a thought, but maybe this isn't enough to solve the infrastructural and cultural factors that lead to these tragedies.

This is a new one since I started tracking: three collisions in Guelph yesterday afternoon happened so close together that the media just bunched them into a single news story. I logged each separately. Three pedestrians injured, three drivers charged.

This happened on a tiny little (max 40km/h) local suburban street. No justification for this if the driver was paying the slightest attention, regardless of stop signs or paint. These are the most pedestrians I've had to add to a single collision so far, and I have been tracking them since May 1.
