This post in particular is really telling. It's saying - don't expect Democrats to simply right the wrongs. What Republicans take away in 4 years you must expect to spend 20 years to restore, fighting Democrats the whole way.

I've said it before but the major disconnect between trans people and our oppressors is that we treat healthcare as an issue of autonomy, whereas the cis medical authorities treat it at best as a sort of palliative care for an incurable "disease".

It's hard to explain to a centrist cis liberal how badly trans people want to fight for a politician - any politician - who will stand with us and fight for our rights, and how little we want to have anything to do with a politician who will toss our rights on the fire to appease bigoted fascists.

There are people, even some trans people, who think that we can give up sports to appease bigots. That if we give up on sports, this all goes away. That is a lie. I have reported on this for years, and EVERY state that passed a sports ban as a moderate compromise has gone on to pass worse.
