Not caring about local races can lead to absolute disaster. North Carolina wouldn’t be what it is if we hadn’t lost the state Supreme Court. Losing that meant losses of at least 3 House Seats, the difference of the majority in 2024.

Elections, trends, and underfunded state parties can lead to party instability and loss of political power projection for well over a decade. Look no further than Wisconsin and Missouri which could well have political strength on the state level they havent had since the pre-Obama era
