Hello! I'm putting all my stuff on sale until the end of the month! £13.48 gets you all my stuff including a whole ass BX clone I wrote during covid. Everything is also half price individually including my spot art pack and hex tiles which have commercial licenses. itch.io/s/210822/que...

Gary Gygax creaming his jorts in his grave

One more tally in the ‘people don’t want games to be art they desperately desire them to be consumer products’ column

Oh would you look at that 👀👀👀👀

MÖRK BORG's graphic design is next level. It's genuinely incredible. So many of the 3rd party modules try to ape all the chaos, but miss the mark. I am always quietly judging people who complain about the book. Always. I'm doing it right now.

Of all the things I want preserved from the OSR, I think this is #1. I think it’s sorta the OSR’s Blackmoor.

I recently got commissioned to draw some headshot portraits for a personal Arthurian legends game. With kind permission I've put them up on my itch page. They are pay what you want, and it comes with a license to use them in commercial products as well. Enjoy! queer-wizard.itch.io/arthurianhea...

Someday, maybe someday soon, there’s going to be a reckoning for the AI bubble and we’re going to stand admit ashes and realise we burned down the internet chasing a phantom.

I'm weirdly bummed about the PG Bigfoot film being proven as a hoax; EVEN THOUGH I knew win my heart of hearts that it was. It just feels like the world got a little less mysterious.

It's done! The PDFs have already been sent to the backers, and Angel, our printer, will start working on them next week. A huge thank you to everyone. Stay tuned!

I dont remember who said it but they were right when they said a lot of internet discourse could be settled if people just admitted they felt left out

This week, I'm returning to my thoughts on freelance. What the heck should I be charging if I wanted to do this full time? www.explorersdesign.com/hireling-you...

This is how they've left me. And I need to pick up my uniforms and supplies tomorrow, then do two appointments the next day. And if I don't show tomorrow for internship in uniform and ready, it risks forfeiting a lot. Please don't let my school and agency fuck me over.

Another successful visit to the record store

got the post session 'I'm the worst GM that has ever fucking existed' feels

Rereading old blog posts, and Grognardia reminded me of this essential truth: "don't design rules with bad players in mind. Any rule, no matter how well written, can and will be abused by players looking to find a way to take advantage of a situation."

Happy Birthday to Cam Kennedy, one of @2000ad.bsky.social 's finest!

Hello friends! I'm looking for work RIGHT NOW 👀

It's only been about two months since I stared rebuilding my physical music collection and *already* I'm noticing myself decoupling from defaulting to streaming albums. I think about an album I want to listen to and I find myself wanting to go to the record shop to buy it instead of just streaming.

You're doing a lot of doomscrolling for someone who has a bunch of unread RPG books on their shelf 👀

@bradkerr.net hey Brad - friend of mine wants to back the new Mushmen adventure you wrote but they only ever run Cairn and they asked me how I thought it’d play in that system so I thought I’d just ask you directly what you thought about that?

Hello everyone should back this absolutely bonkers (positive) adventure. It’s great and also it’s got a bunch of cool maps by me!

This gets said constantly, but it worth reiterating: Games Workshop being bigger than fishing is important to shout about because you wouldn't know it from government talking points, which are rarely about anything creative or artistic. Growth won't involve fish or steel, it will involve goblins.

Hi friends - I'm in a bad situation and am reaching out for support. Due to some really frustrating circumstances, I am struggling to cover my bills. Any assistance would make a huge difference. If you're able to help, I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you ko-fi.com/a_queer_wizard #mutualaid

Can someone shoot age difference discourse in the fucking head and double tap it please?

I can't get over 'he said I called him a paedophile and a groomer. That's a lie. I only called him a groomer'.

When I was a kid, there was this rock in the forest along the highway between my town and the nearest city—in the middle of absolute nowhere—where someone had spray painted “USA WANTS WAR”. I remember it clearly, how it was the first time I was made aware of USA’s existence and what their deal was.

It didn't *have* to come to this, but 45 years of "you're not allowed to call people racist when they only have genuine concerns about immigration" secured it.
