No one seems to care, but these were the UK's submissions about hospital use in I v UK in *2002*. I get that the UKSC is big on reading ECtHR jurisprudence as narrowly as possible, but it really does strain credulity to think there is no Art 8 violation .

1/🧵 A serious analysis. This is disingenuous. We all know there are two legal meanings of the EHRC Code: a generous one and a fair one. The generous legal meaning is that it suggests that trans-exclusionary provision is “legally” safer. The fair one is that it requires trans-exclusionary provision.

Every cis person needs to read and understand this.These decisions aren’t taken lightly. Our Labour government is effectively making political refugees of trans ppl and their families who flee and seek safety overseas. It’s shameful.
