Brazilians beat back fascism by... voting harder? Organized offline and online around an election, using a mix of strategies aimed at both turnout and persuasion. Showed up in large numbers, and despite some very wealthy interests arrayed against them, succeeded? Huh. Pretty neat how that works.

Jared Kushner must be investigated and arrested. While employed by the US government, he was using a secret $700 million Dubai bank account to transfer "significant amounts of money" to all kinds of evil dirtbags including a warlord, a mercenary, and a hit man. crooksandliars.com/2026/10/bomb...

Ramaswamy made his money through a scam. That's not success; it’s corruption. This election is the big chance in our lifetime to do something about the people who think politics is just there to enable ever bigger personal grifts.

“Our research suggests that Trump was not necessarily attracting male supporters who are as confidently masculine as the former president presented himself to be. Rather, our findings suggest that Trump appeared to appeal more to men who may be insecure about their manhood.” — Knowles & DiMuccio

Like, I genuinely do not understand how a man this utterly risible has a cult following. The people obsessed with virile masculinity have latched onto this man, while he is visibly among the most gaudy insecure virtueless losers in the world. bsky.app/profile/rimi...

It’s really remarkable to me that 10 years into this people feel compelled to “clarify” Trump’s homicidal and often genocidal fantasies. It is deranged for the president to daydream about American cities in states he hates getting blown up. Full stop.

I know this is said a lot but can you imagine the rage if another potus pulled out all our bases. If Obama did this he’d be on trial for treason.

U.S. forces are retreating. That's what this means. "Pulled out and returned to their home stations in the U.S. as potential Iranian threats raise base security concerns" is a fancy way of saying the Iranian military has the U.S. military in retreat. This is unbelievably embarrassing.
