The is the federal government telling news stations to provide favorable coverage of the war or their licenses will be pulled. A truly extraordinary moment. We aren't on the verge of a totalitarian takeover. WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF IT. Act like it.

As a nation, we are most pathetic internally & abroad when we forget that our revolutionary founding documents embodied ideas about human equality & freedom that have spread into the world not just as aspirational benchmarks but as rights to be defended and upheld. www.greatpower.us/p/wars-of-in...

Guys, with understanding that everyone is angry right now, I am honestly going to start blocking people who say things like, "Who cares? The law doesn't matter anymore," or "They can do whatever they want, they can't be stopped" etc. I mean, if you really feel that way, you're a part of the problem.

There’s nothing new about this plan from the Kremlin. It’s just so no other American administration in history was so devoid morals and a belief in American values and an understanding of American security to pursue it with such vigor www.wsj.com/world/russia...

Scott Pelley got a big scoop with the Trump DOJ whistleblower that almost surely was going to be the top story on 60 Minutes this week. But per the NYT, Bari Weiss personally booked Jared Kushner on 60–letting him take a victory lap for the Gaza deal. Pelley’s story was pushed to second position.

Our pro-democracy movement responds to Trump by competing in elections, trying to pass legislation to help people, protesting peacefully, as Americans do. It's Trump who is attacking America/our democracy, bringing violence to our streets, unprecedented corruption, rigging/overturning elections.

And this is why Democrats cannot ignore the importance of building enthusiasm in the base. Secure the base. Drive turnout high. Show them the truth abt the effect of Trumpism on their lives. Build up and out from the base and capture as many voters as possible.Trump is vulnerable. Make the case.

I’ll say this and then I’m gonna step back b/c 2026 IS THE ONLY NATIONAL ELECTION THAT’S IMPORTANT NOW. No Dem presidential candidate wins w/o high Black turnout & vote. So stop making it like Black voters are expendable or that you can serve up any candidate chosen by Pelosi, Clooney or MSM & win.

I say all this to say, stop it. Biden was old, tired, not as sharp in language, recall or gait as two years before. But he was doing the job and doing it well. Sadly he was not able to effectively do the Comms part of the job which requires vigor & charisma. Now do a wellness check on Trump.
