We thought there should be a definitive podcast about Sonic, chronologically tracking through the 90s and letting you relive (or first-live) a childhood in those days, with all really good editing and music and features and guests and stuff, so we did. It's nearly over: stctp.zone

This issue is infamous. In issue 88, Future Shock Part 3 accidentally reused the lettering from the previous page. They apologised in issue 91 but the story wasn't reprinted until issue 209... at which point they botched the bleed and crop margins! Here's my sloppy attempt at combining it all.

I think this means that every original story has now been scanned and the only gaps we have are reprinted stories. 😮 Huge community effort, especially sourcing that last page of Poster Mag 7.

They're pricing out one of their biggest audiences, kids, seemingly to sell less volume at a higher margin, but that means no future adult fans to sell to

The medication seems to be working. I'm starting to feel a little better in myself, but we're not in the clear yet. I have another appointment in 2 weeks and a blood test at the start of November. Surgery is still on the table for one of the issues. I'm slowly returning to being active online.

This is likely my last contribution to the Rescan Project because I've run out of issues I own which we haven't already scanned! It's been an absolute joy working alongside @lewiswake.bsky.social @folkus85.bsky.social and the other contributors we've had helping us. Really proud of the results.

Quick update: I had an appointment last week where we made a few changes, including medications, and set some things up, as well as chasing a referral. I have a follow-up appointment on Wednesday. Thanks for the well wishes. I'll be back when this is all sorted out.
