Today in the Housing and Permitting Committee Chair Avalos had to interrupt and call to order Brian Owendoff who violated our rules of decorum and engaged in ableist slurs at the dais. Mr. Owendoff’s comments were deplorable and the chair was right to gavel him out.

ICE has started its surge in Oregon. Once again like last time people are in cold holding cells in PDX ICE more than 24 hours. Families are reporting they are unable to find family members. Now is the time for Oregon surge back with solidarity.
