As ever, three quarters of "look at this asshole" is always "look at this". Don't do PR for the fash. Don't give free advertising to the worst bastards. There is no dunk witty enough to warrant amplifying their hate.

Brazilians recommending not to amplify right-wing talking points by dunking and quoting, as a winning strategy Next day, my tl is full of people dunking on rfk jr I literally would not have seen the bigotry if it wasn't for y'all repeating it. That's exactly what the Brazilians were on about!

NEW: I spoke with current and former EA employees to understand how the latest layoff round played out and the realities of daily life at the U.S. publisher. The short version? EA is controlled by an executive class that "cannot fail, only be failed." Workers, then, will always pay the price.

"A documentary is a form of journalism meant to discover and reveal the truth." No it's not. You have failed the assignment. See me after class.

My cool neighbor has this as part of his year-round 'yard full o' skeletons' display. He must have at least 100 #skeletons, both people and animals. He goes out every so often and rearranges them into different scenarios, with attention to holidays/seasons. 😁 #Halloween

If they manage to cram in every feature that the store page promises, this free community-made remaster could be better than 90% of official, professional attempts. Fingers crossed for both this project and Arkane. They're going through it right now.

YES! Such a good game - the main issue with it was the hardware and control response. Body Harvest next please.

I wish I loved Tenebris Somnia more. I mostly do! Then I get to bits like a chase sequence that autokills you if you keep running away from the thing chasing you. I would assume the thing breaking all the traps would be unstoppable, but no, you just need to get it caught on one specific trap. Ugh.

@patstaresat.bsky.social said to play Ace combat 8 with Advance controls on, and I wasnt sure if I could fully do it with my handicap, but i said fuck it, who needs a left middle and index finger, and I saw the glory, I dont think I'd felt that kinda rush in a video game in a long time. *Crashed 3x
