I've been informed that AI warning for Steam is currently not working in French, because Steam changed the label I'm using to detect the AI disclosure. I'll push an update for this later today. In the meantime, you could temporarily use the Store in a different language. Sorry for the inconvenience!

AI warning for Steam v1.1.2 has been released to fix AI disclosure detection in French. Userscript and Firefox version are available now, Chrome version is awaiting approval.

Both the Firefox and Chrome versions should hopefully work in the Orion Browser. You'll have to enable Firefox and/or Chrome extensions in the settings and then install one of the versions from the appropriate web store. [3/4] apps.apple.com/us/app/orion... orionbrowser.com

Someone made a cool video explaining and showing in detail how to install AI warning for Steam (and other Chrome extensions) in the Steam desktop client without using external tools. (Please note that this is not officially supported, but it works fine.)

@duckaislop.bsky.social The devs of Arms of God removed its AI disclosure in June, stating they replaced the AI-generated icons and were planning to replace the AI-generated localization, but in later patch notes I couldn't find any info about the localization actually being replaced. Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.
