I love how these guys just assume no one can fact check them. Google is free; no reason to accept this guy's version of events. A simple search shows that Omar Mwannes Yaghi, a Palestinian born in Jordan, won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2025. As for literature, Abdulrazak Gurnah in 2021.

RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

"All of the benefits, none of the responsibilities" describes Americans in general though, so can I really be mad about politicians acting the same way? bsky.app/profile/mich...

Michael@michaelkstahl.bsky.social

I am trying to be unsympathetic to the politicians in general. They want all the benefits of being an elected representative and none of the responsibilities. Maybe they should pay more attention to their constituencies and less to their strange bedfellows.

Turns out the friction of having to learn photoshop was a crucial firewall protecting society from the terrible taste of small business owners

When I first heard about AI being used for menus and advertisements, my concern was largely that it would be used to idealize the food and make it look better than it actually was. At no point did I imagine that restaurants would willingly put out horrific looking images of their food on purpose

Man, when BMW says "that's too fascist for us"

e.w. niedermeyer@niedermeyer.online

just to emphasize what's happening here: BMW (a company that used slave labor under the Nazis) refused to provide an official vehicle to the ultra right-wing AfD party, which is now asking Elon Musk to provide a Tesla instead Tesla literally becoming the Nazi car brand

Sliwa getting a flu shot: This could be very embarrassing. I’m supposed to be a tough guy, right? Mamdani: I can hold your hand. Sliwa: What happens if I faint? Mamdani: I got you. Doctor: You’re in great hands, literally. New Yorkers can find free flu shots and locations at nyc.gov/healthmap

It never ceases to amaze me that the sort of men who claim women are too impulsive and emotional to be leaders are the same ones who swear sober men become completely incapacitated in reason and empathy in the presence of a drunk woman.

Men can't be leaders cause once they get seduced by female spies who want information about their countries for example they fall in the trap in no time and they end up getting blackmailed by other politicians you can't even control your dick how can you control countries

you will encounter more opportunities in life to change the batteries on a smoke alarm than you will to run into a burning building and no one gives a shit you changed those batteries but it is still very important and why are you waiting on a burning building, know what i’m saying, it’s a metaphor

i worry that men think being A Good Guy is dramatically and heroically intervening on behalf of an endangered woman and then being publicly rewarded on a grand scale when actually being A Good Guy is just usually saying, “hey man that’s not funny” or “wow that’s fucked up” and there is no reward

This is true. In 2016, I got into an argument with a gay man on a menswear forum. I've since made it my mission to make every man dress gay, thereby destroying his ability to tell who is actually gay and, ultimately, his chances of finding love. I built my social media following to achieve that goal
