🚨BREAKING: In a blow to the DOJ, the 9th Circuit rejected its request to bypass a lower court to bar California from counting around 20k ballots from people it alleges are "likely" noncitizens. The ruling comes the night before the parties are scheduled to have a hearing before a lower court.

Trump seems to be making a lot of promises to people where in states where he's campaigning. I may be misremembering, but he made a lot of promises like these in states like Indiana during his first term that never happened. Does anyone remember this?

He repeatedly told the people in Lordstown, Ohio that GM was a massive success and their plant would never close. It was sold to Lordstown Motors to build electric cars. Eventually, it filed for bankruptcy and closed down permanently.

Trump pressured Carrier to stay in Indianapolis Indiana. He gave them $700M dollars in tax incentives. They cut their production staff to 500 people and moved their production lines to Mexico.

I did remember correctly. Foxconn was supposed to invest $1B in Wisconsin, making LCD crystals. It was going to employ 15k people. They scaled back their investment to $675 and hired just 1300 people.
